April 16 Happy Easter~~^^Toby attended an easter egg hunt. The weather was good. It was pretty warm but there’s no sunshine. Nowadays it is about 87 degree or something during daytime. While we were waiting, Toby was so eager to hunt eggs. Toby went inside of a line which we had to be outside of it a couple of times when I did something for a sec. So people around us laughed and some little kids couldn’t wait either. They hunted eggs by age group and Toby went in 1-3 year old group and Etan went in 1year old and younger group. I took Etan inside and we hunted together. 토비가 부활절 egg hunt(부활절에 어린이들이 여기 저기 숨겨진 계란을 찾는 게임)를 했다. 요즘 날씨가 30도가 넘느데 어제는 좀 덥긴했지만 햇빛이 없어서 넘 좋았다. 기다리는 동안 잠시(몇초였음) 한 눈 파는 사이 토비가 못 참겠던지 기다려야 하는 선을 넘어 몇 번 들어가고 말았다. 주위사람들도 웃고 몇 아이들도 따라 들어갔다. 나이별로 게임을 해서 토비는 1-3살 그룹에 이튼은 1살아래 그룹에 들어갔다. 이튼을 안고 같이 몇 개를 주웠다. 미국 나이로 토비는 아직 2살. They are about to go! Are you guys ready? 시작 준비중.
Toby was pretty good at hunting the eggs. He ran to an area to pick up some eggs and then went to another area and another.... He didn't look for me(other kids ran inside the line and lots of kids got lost "I ran but I don't know what to do now" so their parents went inside led their kids). He just so busy hunting the eggs. He got the eggs full of his basket.
토비가 여기 저기 다니면서 한 바구니를 만들었다. 날 찾지도 않고 계란을 찾는데 넘 열심히 였다. 다른 아이들은 막 뛰어들어가서는 어떻게 할지 몰라서 그대로 서있거나 그랬다. 아직 어려서 부모들이 들어와서 같이 했다.

계란 안에 분홍 스티커가 있으면 상품을 준다고 해서 토비가 찾고 있는 중.

Etan with the Easter bunny. Hi cutie! 부활절 토끼랑 같이. "I hunted some eggs and hippo with mommy" "엄마랑 같이 계란도 줍고 하마 인형도 주웠어요"
They had an Easter egg hunt right outside of the headquarters building. 부활절 egg hunt는 부대 사령부 건물 근처에서 했다.
HAVE A HAPPY EASTER~~ April 04 Little guys’ parade for our troopsToby joined in the little guys’ parade which was for supporting our troops at the CDC where Toby goes. It started at 9:30 in the morning. The weather was really nice before the parade but then it started to get windy and cloudy right before we started. They paraded around the CDC parking lot. The little kids were so cute. They were from babies to about 4-5 year old kids. 토비가 가는 놀이방에서 군인가족을 위한 퍼레이드를 했다. 오전 9시30분에 시작했는데 날씨가 좋았는데 시작하기 바로 전부터 바람이 불고 흐려지더니 약간 추워졌다. 놀이방 주차장을 돌면서 했다. 앉을수 있는 애기들 부터 4-5살 아이들 까지 했는데 넘 귀여웠다. This was the T-shirt they wore. it says "Month of the military child". 퍼레이드 할때 입었던 티셔츠. 티셔츠에는 군인가족 어린이의 달이라고 적혀있다. They finished the parade and took a picture together by each daycare group. They all go to the same room Toby goes. 퍼레이드가 끝났을때 놀이방 별로 사진을 찍었다. 토비가 가는곳 보통 3-5살(미국나이이니까 한국나이로는 4-6살정도 되는) 아이들이다.
Etan was in the parade too. "I want to hold the flag but it's too cold to get my hand out." 이튼도 한장 찰칵. "국기를 잡고 싶은데 넘 추워요" It's Toby's craft from last Thursday. Toby likes to open and close the caps of the markers, so he colored every color even though it's just a dot. 지난 목요일날 토비가 만든 작품. 싸인펜 뚜껑 열고 닫는게 재미있었는지 거의 모든색깔을 이용해서 색칠하고 그냥 점이라도 찍은 뒤 뚜껑을 닫았다. |
