It is already end of the year 2005. The year will be changed in 25 hours. Every year is different but this year means a lot to me. Etan was born in this year, Brandon got deployed to Iraq for the first time and spending the holidays without my hubby in US……. 벌써 25시간만 있으면 2005년을 마감하는 시간이 되었네. 한해한해가 다르지만 이번해는 나에게 참으로 의미있는 해였다. 이튼이 태어나고 브랜든이 첨으로 이라크에 가고 그래서 미국 명절들도 혼자 보내고....

What are you guys doing on New Year’s Eve?

I just remember last year. Brandon, do you remember last New Year’s Eve? We had dinner with Hyun-mi’s family and some drink. After they left, we had some more drink together just you and me and then had our own fire works. Remember, we missed the count down because our satellite was messed up. That was fun.

여러분들은 새해전날 뭐 하세요? 문득 지난해가 생각이 나네. 지난 12월 31일날 아는 친구 가족과 저녁먹고 술마시고 친구들 가고 나서 브랜든과 둘이 술을 엄청 마셨다. TV 위성이 잘못대는 바람에 count down 하는 것도 놓쳐버리고 아쉬운 마음을 달래며 브랜든과 뒷뜰에서 우리들만의 불꽃놀이를 했었다. 정말 재미있었는데...

I want to go to the Times Square sometime for a New Year’s Eve. As the clock nears midnight on 31^st, the eyes of the world observe the Times Square. I saw that in Korea too. That looked really fun with huge crowd.

뉴욕 타임스퀘어 광장에 연말에 한번 가봤으면 좋겠다. 저 화려한 네온사인과 수많은 사람들과 새해를 맞으면 정말 재미있을것 같다.  한국에 있을때 tv에서 봤었는데.

31일날 뭐를 하든 진짜진짜 재미있는 시간들 보내시구요 술은 넘 많이 드시지 말구요.

I wish all your wishes come true in the coming year. 새해에 모든 소망이 이루어 지길 바래요.

They have christmas lights around Cumberland river walk in down town Clarksville.

우리 동네근처에 강이 있는데 거기에 크리스마스 장식을 많이 해서 밤에 놀러갔다.

The weather was really nice when we got there around 6:30 PM so I just wore a sweater and it got cold later on around 8:00. But the good thing was everybody else wore warm clothes.

There's a play ground behind this lights and Toby loved it. There were so many kids played around. Toby didn't want to leave the play ground so the other's kids too.

우리가 도착했을때 날씨가 너무 따뜻해서 나는 겉에 가디건 하나만 입었는데 8시가 넘으니 점점 날씨가 추워져서 덜덜 떨었다. 그래도 나말고 다들 두꺼운 옷을 입어서 다행이다. 휴~우. 윗사진 크리스마스 장식 뒤에 놀잍터가 있는데 아이들이 엄청 많이 놀고 있어서 토비가 넘 좋아했다. 날씨도 추운데 거기서 거의 한시간을 놀고 집에 오기전에 또 한번 들렀다. 아이 추워!!!

So I had to grab him and distract him with something else. We went there twice. 

Toby kept runing away from my mom so she had to run with him and sometimes people grabbed giggling Toby for her. Later on I held Toby and my mom pushed the stroller.

We have fun. Actually Toby had lots of fun and he fell asleep on the way back.

엄마가 토비랑 걸었는데 토비가 장난치면서 도망가고 그래서 엄마가 쫓아가느라.. 아휴 힘들어! 사람들이 웃으면서 토비 잡아주고 했다. 나중에는 내가 토비 손 잡고 엄마가 유모차를 밀었다. 

"It would be nice if daddy was here with us for this holiday season". 아빠가 같이있었으면 좋겠다.

We had Santa Clause at our housing office so we went there and took some pictures and got a little gift for Toby.

If you look carefully, there was an elf on the right side of Santa. 산타와 찍은 사진. 산타 오른쪽에 elf(동화에서 산타 선물싸는거 도와주는 난장이)가 있다.

I didn't want to be in the picture but I had to hold Toby. Toby didn't want to sit on Santa's lap. 사진 찍을줄 몰랐는데... 흐흐... 토비가 산타랑 사진찍기 싫어해서 내가 안고 찍었다.

"Oh my god! This one is so small. I've got to be careful with this baby."

I'm waiting for my christmas gifts. I can open my gifts by myself. Look, I can sit up and control myself!!! I don't need help. What's the person behind me doing????

저는 크리스마스 선물을 기다리고 있어요. 혼자 앉을수도 있고 도움도 필요 없어서 저 혼자 선물도 오픈할수 있어요. 어~이 제 뒤에있는분 뭐하시나요?

He is getting chubby and it looks like he has a rubber band on his wrists. It’s so cute.

Daddy, do you see that I'm growing fast?

점점 살이찌니까 넘 귀엽다. 특히 손목부분에 꼭 고무 밴드라도 껴놓은거 같다. 손목사진이 나왔으면 좋았을걸.... 아빠 저 잘크고 있는거 보이죠?

Now I am dressed up to go to bed. Don't I look neat????

Toby took a bath too while Etan was taking a bath. Etan used baby tub and Toby used our bath tub. Toby likes to take a bath when Etan takes a bath.

I'm a big boy. I know how to cover myself!!

이튼이 목욕할때 토비도 목욕을 하려고 한다. 이튼은 애기목욕통에서 하고 토비는 우리 욕조에서 하고. " 나는 이제 다 커서 사진 찍을때 어딜가릴지 알아요."

OOOPPPPPSSSS!!!! I forgot to hold my towel. 수건 잡는걸 까먹었네.
