My cousin Ae-Jin visited our place from North Carolina. She came here on last Friday and she left today. I hadn't seen her for a looooong time so it was really nice to see her even though it was short time. Toby was really shy at first but he got much friendly after he got a train set from her. Ae-Jin, your plan worked out good, huh 울 사촌 동생이 North Carolina에서 지난 금요일날 놀러 와서 오늘 돌아 갔다. 짧은 시간이어서 좀 아쉬웠지만 오랜만에 만나서 넘 좋았다. 토비가 첨에는 수줍어 하더니 기차 장난감을 받고 어찌나 잘 따르던지.. 흐흐

 

Toby tried to get our attention when he saw the bench he ran and sat on it while we walked around the River Walk park. He made us sit too and then he took off to another bench. 공원 산책중에 토비가 우리 관심을 끌려고 막 뛰어가 저 벤치에 앉았다. 그래서 우리도 그 김에 잠시 쉬었다가 찰칵.

Etan is already 3months old today. He is growing up good and healthy. I feel like Etan have never been a new born baby. He is so big and I feel like he was new born baby size for just a few days. 이튼이 건강하고 잘 자라서 벌써 3개월이 되었다. 이튼이 꽤 커서 느낌에 이튼은 신생아였던적이 없던거 같다. 태어났을때 며칠 빼고는.

He raises head and chest when lying on his stomach and stretches legs out and kicks(pretty hard) when lying on his back. He smiles, laugh good and often. He talks a lot more than Toby. He likes sucking his hand. 엎드렸을때 머리와 가슴까지 들고 누웠을때는 발낄질도 꾀 힘있게 찬다. 소리내서도 웃고 토비보다 말도 많다. 내가 말하면 답을 아주 잘한다. 이튼아 주먹 맛나???

He had a little bit of eczma on his face and it's almost went away. It took a little over a week. I'm happy that it's almost gone. 토비가 얼굴에만 아토피가 약간 한 일주일 넘짓 있었다. 좀 걱정했는데 지금은 거의 없어져서 "휴~우" 하고 있다.

We had real SNOW yesterday for the first time. We had snow before but it was like dust and we couldn't really see it and it stopped in a few minutes. So I have to show you guys the pictures. hehe. It's really sunny today so it's getting melt away. 어제 눈다운 눈이 왔다. 이번해는 안올줄 알았는데 겨울 거의다 지나서 오내. 운전할게 겁나긴 하지만 기쁘다. 오늘은 햇빛이 쨍쨍해서 점점 녹고 있다.

 

Brandon sent me some pictures from Iraq. He couldn't send me a lot of pictures. They are not allowed to take pictures of some places. But you guys can get some idea of where Brandon is staying from these pictures. Here they are!! 브랜든이 이라크에서 사진을 보냈는데 많은곳을 찍을수 없다고 하면서 몇멏 사진만 보내줬다. 브랜든이 어떤곳에 지내는지 약간의 idea는 얻을수 있다.  

 

This is Brandon's room and he has one roommate. 브랜든은 룸메이트 한명과 같이 방을 쓴다.

This picture is an old picture. He said that they changed the room's layout(they put wall locker in the middle of the room) so they can have more privacy since Brandon have guard duty. He goes to sleep in the morning and his roommate goes to sleep at night so they don't get bothered from each other. 브랜든이 한달동안 밤새며 일을 하느라 잠을 아침에 자야하고 룸메이트는 저녁에 자야해서 방 배치를 다시했다고 한다. 서로 방해받지 안으려고 중간에 락커를 놔뒀다고 한다. 위 사진은 배치전 사진.

This is right by the fence. You can see three iraqi kids out side the base. 부대 울타리 밖으로 세명의 이라크 아이들이 노는 모습도 보이고 평화 스러워 보인다.
